Non-Profit Donation Program

South Valley Water Polo (SOVA), dba South Valley Aquatics, is a 501(c) (3) non-profit public benefit organization. SOVA is organized to promote local, national, and international amateur water polo and aquatics. As a charitable organization, SOVA seeks to generally promote increased participation in aquatic sports in the central San Joaquin valley with specific effort directed at young men and women from poor circumstances. SOVA is particularly interested in creating life altering, positive opportunities for young men and women who may otherwise experience barriers to participating in competitive athletics leading to higher education and career opportunities.

For the last ten years SOVA athletes have gone on to universities, the armed services and careers while exemplifying leadership, loyalty, tenacity, and honor. Our SOVA alumni reflect the quality and character of our community. Your donations to SOVA allow us to make participation affordable to more local student athletes by lowering the fees to athletes and their families and using your donations to pay for scholarships, pool time, coaches compensation, organizational operations, equipment, and travel to competitions.

The Board is currently exploring a number of dynamic fundraising and donation programs to better position SOVA to continue serving the community by providing quality aquatics activities for youth and training that makes communities healthier and safer.
